Dan was born and raised in Minnesota before making his journey to the Southwest to attend the University of Arizona where he earned a B.A. with an emphasis on Management Information Systems. Shortly after he began his IT career at the University of Arizona Extended University. Initially providing desktop and network support, he quickly advanced and began teaching Certified Novell (CNE) and Microsoft (MCSE) courses for the university.
Dan has 20 years of proven leadership in a technical organization and has been instrumental for the success and growth of Valor Global. In addition to his business leadership and acumen, Dan has led many large scale network and collaboration implementations participating in the engineering, planning and configuration.
His Midwest upbringing sprouted his adventure seeking and love of outdoors and now in the desert he continues to find respite outdoors in the form of hiking and golf, often with his twin boys and his daughter. He continues to spend several weeks a year in Minnesota enjoying fishing, water sports and spending time with his large extended family. Dan also enjoys traveling the world learning about and experiencing various cultures.
